The business and corporate community plays a vital role in the support of the College of Nursing. The College’s on-going partnerships with those in the health care community - Beaumont, Detroit Medical Center and Henry Ford Health Systems - have resulted in the College’s ability to accept more students, increase evidence-based research for practice and enable more students to complete their educations.
The members of the College’s Board of Visitors are expanding their outreach into the business and corporate community for a simple yet undeniably important reason: nursing plays a key role in health care, and health care is everyone’s business. As a foundation of the health care industry, the College of Nursing is asking everyone to give in support of a stronger nursing program. We ask businesses to give back to the community by supporting nurses who are competent, compassionate caregivers and leaders in the health care community.
