The Wayne State University College of Nursing has benefited greatly from strong partnerships formed with health care agencies and practitioners at local, state and international levels. The College has formed mutually beneficial alliances with major medical institutions in southeast Michigan, sought to establish relationships with health care organizations throughout the state, and extended its educational and clinical reach beyond U.S. borders, all in an effort to aid in the clinical instruction of our students.

The College of Nursing has also received invaluable assistance from those experienced health care practitioners who help provide our students with clinical instruction by serving as Preceptors.

College of Nursing faculty members are encouraged to join the Nursing Practice Corporation, a non-profit corporation that provides nursing services and educational opportunities, conducts scientific research, and disseminates the knowledge acquired through public and professional channels. The corporation operates the Campus Health Center, which is managed and staffed by nationally certified nurse practitioners.
